How it is calculated

Each unit is defined via the base unit (kilogram (kg)). The value is first converted to the base unit, then to the selected unit.

1 q = 100 kg

1 g = 0.001 kg

1 q × 100 = 100 kg

100 kg ÷ 0.001 = 100000 g
