How it is calculated

Each unit is defined via the base unit (pascal (Pa)). The value is first converted to the base unit, then to the selected unit.

1 atm = 101325 Pa

1 bar = 100000 Pa

1 atm × 101325 = 101325 Pa

101325 Pa ÷ 100000 = 1.01325 bar
