How it is calculated

Each unit is defined via the base unit (bit). The value is first converted to the base unit, then to the selected unit.

1 Kibit = 1024 bit

1 nibble = 4 bit

1 Kibit × 1024 = 1024 bit

1024 bit ÷ 4 = 256 nibble
